CWS to Publish the CWS System Builder Excellence Index

Computer Warranty Services, provider of 24/7 Help Desk and nationwide onsite warranty services for computer system builders and resellers, has created a measurement index for their system builder customers. The CWS Index will award a rating for systems builders that have purchased warranty plans from CWS.

The index is calculated by the number of systems sold with CWS warranty plans compared with the failure rate. The rating will be from one to five PC symbols with five being best. Only system builders rated four symbols or higher will be put up on the CWS web site for viewing. Ratings will be done on a quarterly basis.

According to Don Sherman, President of CWS, “This rating system will help showcase our premier system builders to the industry and the general public at large. The index is designed to allow system builders the chance to benefit from their efforts of building the highest quality systems, and by using the CWS Index Rating, system builders can show that quality has been built into each and every unit they sell.”
